Updated: Sep 2, 2020

Just in time for the new fall schedule!

Schools back in session, which means our new schedule is designed to work with yours. We wanted you to get know our LRY instructors better, so we put together some fun facts about them!

Brian Tobin

Something you may be surprised to learn about him: "I play ice hockey... When people find that out about me they think it's funny because it's such a different energy than the space I hold for group practices!"

If he could be any animal it would be: I'd be an Eagle or Hawk. Think about the feeling of flying high above the ground, weightless, looking down upon the world below...epic.

If he could have any superpower it would be: telepathy.

Malaika DosRemedios

Something you may be surprised to know about her: "in 2010 I ran a Full Marathon on the Great Wall of China: "The Great Wall Marathon", in 6 hrs and 33min."

If she could have any super power it would be: Teleportation

If she could be an animal she would be: a hummingbird... to be able to fly and see from a different perspective.

Devin Russell

Something you may be surprised to learn about her is while she tends to be perceived as quite extroverted, there's nothing she loves more than alone time.

If she could have any superpower it would be: mind reading!!!

If she could be any animal it would be: a koala because they just hang out and eat all day.

Kelly Skinner

Something you may be surprised to learn about her is: "I was a very competitive Alpine Ski racer from age 5 through College; it was my injury of breaking my femur that guided me towards the path of YOGA, and softening within myself. I honor my YIN energy, and also very much relish in my YANG (running, mountain biking, hiking, back country skiing, you name it!) - and my magic lies in the space between the two."

If she could be any animal it would be: A Dolphin, flowing with the sea

If she could have any superpower it would be: Teleporting AND the ability to have a magic wand that allowed EVERYONE to remember their true nature, that of unconditional love, a spiritual being living a human life.

Her goal is to offer this service to others who may benefit from bodywork on their journey’s of healing and relaxation.

Kate Floyd

Something you may be surprised to know: Kate can juggle!

If she could any super power it would be: to be able to teleport through time and space.

If she could be any animal it would be: "a well-loved family dog- naps in the sun, lots of petting and snuggles, fresh air walks, the love. Could it get better than that?"

"I put cinnamon on everything and haven't found food that it doesn't compliment!"

(including cilantro)

If she could have a superpower it would be: a super brain, to figure out how to generate free energy so that the world stops fighting over natural resources!

If she could be any animal it would be: a mountain goat because they can see the world from up high and munch on whatever the earth has to offer.

Christina Fornaciari

Something you may be surprised to learn about her:

"I told myself I would never do yoga again after my first class ... and 12 years later, here I am!"

If she could be any animal it would be: I’ve always related to panthers — independent, fiercely protective of loved ones, and a lot of naps! Plus their feline energy is so charismatic and mysterious.

If she could have a superpower it would be: To shape shift. One moment I’m me, the next I’m a bird flying over the forest, and the next I’m a water droplet rolling off a leaf into the river. What a beautiful notion it is to expand our singular experience and perspective to every and all experiences and perspectives. In many ways, the practice of yoga is a glimpse into this ‘superpower’ of oneness.

If she could have a superpower it would be: Making meanness evaporate. (Or more fun: being able to fly.)
