October at LRY: CONTINUUM

One of the things I love about yoga is how connected I feel to humankind across time and space. Inquiries such as 'Who am I?' 'What is real?' 'What is suffering?' are universal and timeless questions. They've been asked infinitely.

These questions were at the heart of the ancient yogic practices and are still deeply relevant today. As practitioners in 2025, we are actively shaping yoga's history. We are the chapter that is being written, the continuum as it unfolds. What legacy do we hope to leave?

As LRY celebrates our 15th birthday this month (!), we reflect on our own history, our roots, the countless people and moments that have shaped the path, the tailwinds we glide on. In the same breath, where are we going? What impact do we hope to have? What paths are we following, and what paths do we dare to stray from?

Thank YOU for being a part of Laughing River's past, present, and future. To celebrate, we will have our annual 48hr birthday sale in just a few days. Then next month, we party!

with love,

Christina + LRY

P.S. Save the date! Friday, November 14th 6-9pm for special birthday celebrations at the studio. More details to come.

Happy 15th, LRY! 🎉 That bit about shaping yoga’s history right now really hit me—makes me think twice about what I’m bringing to the mat and beyond. Can’t wait to celebrate with y’all next month! Riddle School

One thing I noticed about eggy car is how smooth it runs even on older laptops. That’s rare for free online games now, and it makes the experience much better.

This reflection on CONTINUUM is so calming and inspiring, especially the idea that we’re an active part of yoga’s living history and legacy in 2025. It makes me want to carry that same gentle, intentional energy into everyday life—choosing slower, more mindful routines and even simple wardrobe staples like an lsu black hoodie that keep me grounded, comfortable, and present as I move through each season.

I really appreciate how this post emphasizes continuity, mindful practice, and giving yourself space to reconnect with your body over the course of the month. That same gentle, intentional approach is something I try to carry into other areas of life too, like choosing slower, more sustainable fashion through best online thrift instead of impulse shopping, so that what I wear also supports a calmer, more conscious lifestyle.

Have you seen the The Young And The Restless 2026 Sharon Case Floral Blouse? It’s honestly one of the most enchanting floral blouses I’ve come across lately. The print feels lively but not overwhelming, and it seems like the kind of piece that would brighten up any outfit.
