August at LRY: NOTICE

Just like that, it’s August.

August has a unique tone. I notice that I’m both digging my heels into high summer, unwilling to let her slip away, while tiptoeing into a horizon of transition, new chapters, shifts. As parts of the garden peak, some have already begun their journey towards decay. Life is like that.

To notice is to give your attention fully. The willingness to pause, slow down, see things as they are. Noticing allows the space for appreciation to emerge and for gratitude to take root. To be fully present is to slow down time.
