Christina Fornaciari (she/her, 500hr RYT) is a full-time yoga teacher living in Winooski, Vermont. She values yoga deeply beyond the physical practice and leans into yoga as a way of moving through life off the mat with more self-awareness, lovingkindness, and skillfulness. Even though she holds the role of a teacher, Christina is committed to continuous learning and studentship as a way of honoring the depths of the yoga tradition and stepping into her most whole self. Most recently, she has deeply enjoyed learning to play the harmonium, studying Sanskrit mantras, and connecting with the goddess/Devi/divine feminine in her many forms. She is deeply grateful for the thousands of years of teachers, students, and traditions that have matriculated from East to West and prop up her life's work today.
Christina’s offerings weave together physical postures, breath awareness, mindfulness, and yogic philosophy, striking a balance between effort and ease with a focus on cultivating mindful awareness, curiosity, and self-acceptance. She aims to create a welcoming, safe, and non-judgmental space for practitioners to simply be themselves in the moment.
Christina earned her 500hr certification through Laughing River Yoga and is honored to step into the role of Co-Director of the Laughing River Yoga 200hr Yoga Teacher Training Program.
