Birth: History, Philosophy, Creating a Birth Culture in Class

In the Prenatal Yoga Basics Training we will explore the anatomy and physiology of the pregnant body. Delve into the culture of birth and learn how to safely sequence your class, and how to modify your teaching for a pregnant woman in any trimester.

This module can be applied toward the full 85-hour prenatal yoga teacher training program offered at Women’s Room. The Women’s Room Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) Program prepares yoga teachers to teach today’s health conscious and active expecting mamas. This training combines childbirth education with yoga, providing women the tools they need for an empowering pregnancy and labor. Women’s Room Prenatal YTT encourages women to become advocates for themselves, for their birth experiences, and for their babies. Our teacher-training program is grounded in research of best practices for pregnancy, labor, and birth.
