Mindfulness practice teaches us to gently return our attention to the present moment, which allows us to soothe our bodies, minds and hearts, and to be fully open to life as it unfolds. The gifts of this practice are innumerable, and can be experienced deeply when practiced in a sustained manner.

This retreat experience will immerse us in the practice of mindfulness. The program will include instruction and guidance in sitting meditation, walking meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and mindfulness of everyday life. The practice will take place in the container of noble silence, allowing us to deepen our focus and intention.

There will be a half hour break for lunch, which will be held in functional silence (i.e. only speaking when necessary). You are welcome to bring food, or to purchase food from Pingala.
