In this brief introductory class you will learn the basics of aromatherapy and how essential oils affect physiology. Participants will have an opportunity to sample various oils and learn general guidelines for safely incorporating them into your yogic experience and that of your students.
Dr. Julieta I. Rushford-Santiago, has a degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and received her Doctorate in Chiropractic in 1994 from Life College School of Chiropractic, in Marietta, Georgia. Co-founder of Rushford Family Chiropractic and a veteran Network Chiropractic practitioner, Dr. Julieta brings her deep awareness of the connections between emotion, spirit, and the body to her practice. “I’ve been working with essential oils for the past 8 years in my personal and professional life with simply astounding results.
