Mindfulness Practice Retreat

The retreat will be offered with the option to participate in-person at the Laughing River Studio, or online via Zoom.
Mindfulness practice teaches us to gently return our attention to the present moment, which allows us to be fully open to life as it unfolds. In these times of great change and turmoil, the practice of mindfulness is an essential tool for grounding the body, centering the mind, and opening the heart. The gifts of this practice are innumerable, and can be experienced deeply when practiced in a sustained manner.
This retreat experience will immerse us in the practice of mindfulness. The program will include instruction and guidance in sitting meditation, walking meditation, loving-kindness meditation, and mindfulness of everyday life. The practice will take place in the container of noble silence, allowing us to deepen our focus and intention.
If you are participating in person, feel free to bring a beverage and/or nonperishable snack for our practice of mindful eating.
