Mindful Living: How to Create and Sustain a Meditation Practice
Are you someone who thinks you “should” meditate more? Have your past attempts to begin a regular meditation practice fallen by the wayside despite your best intentions? Or, are you a meditator who would like to incorporate more structure, inspiration, and motivation into your practice?
In this 4-week series we will cultivate the elements of a committed meditation practice, including both formal sitting and mindfulness of everyday activities. Each week we will practice together, attending to the components that make up a self-guided meditation session, along with the conditions that encourage consistency of practice. We will explore the many skillful ways we can incorporate mindfulness into our daily lives beyond the cushion. The encouragement and accountability of meeting with a group provides the optimal environment for cultivating a joyful, steady, and supportive meditation practice.
