Mantra & Restorative
Experience the subtle transformative power of restorative and mantra. Restorative Yoga is a gentle, therapeutic practice that allows the body to open at its own pace. Using props for support, we hold poses for a n extended time without effort or force, allowing the system to unwind at its own pace and to relax.
After our restorative practice, we will practice a japa mantra, chanting a mantra 108 times or more. Man-tra is a Sanskrit word that roughly translates as, a vehicle that liberates the mind. Man = mind, tra = vehicle.
This workshop will be held in-person at the Chace Mill.
