This Jivamukti Yoga intensive is an opportunity for students to take a deep dive into the teachings of the Jivamukti Yoga Method. We will explore the history of the lineage and unpack the five tenets of the method: Ahimsa, Scripture, Meditation, Nada and Bhakti, as well as asana.
Jivamukti’s passionate focus on the original meaning of the Sanskrit word “asana”—as seat, connection, relationship to the earth—is as practical as it is radical during this time of global crisis and consciousness shift. Through this lens, we explore what it means to walk the world as a yogi/yogini and how to embody the true essence of the practice.
This intensive is great for those wishing to delve into the practical and mystical practices of Jivamukti Yoga. Please note that the asana practice will be 95 minutes and intermediate/advanced level.
All are welcome and modifications will be offered.
This intensive will be offered in-person at the Chace Mill.
This intensive counts as 4 hours toward the 300 hr training.
