I began practicing yoga regularly in 2008 at Laughing River. Yoga immediately gave me a whole new awareness of my body and mind which gave me a path towards deeper connection in myself. After experiencing many different teachers over the years, I became drawn to the alignment based esoteric practices of Katonah yoga and the Taoist philosophy woven into it. Soon after, I found Qigong as a complementary practice. I have been practicing Qigong for the last 5-6 years. The more I practiced the more I wanted to learn. This curiosity led me to Seattle Institute of East Asian Medicine in 2018 where I studied Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Massage, and Qigong. I am now a licensed Acupuncturist practicing in the Burlington area. My East Asian Medicine training has brought me greater awareness of the meridians which profoundly influence my own Yoga practice as well as how I teach .
