Equanimity can be defined as a middleness. It is a naturally occurring state of mind that allows us to be with what is arising in the moment, without resistance.  It is neither for nor against.  From an equanimous mind state we can get clear about the appropriate action to take, both in our lives and for others.  The following phrases can be used as part of a meditation practice or throughout the day as a way to stay present with what is happening and clear about how to act.
