The end of the journey brought me to Finisterre – the end of the earth, where the physical meets the spiritual!  I’ve been blessed with the gift of time, physicality and the angels who showed up throughout the way.  Looking forward to sharing the light with you!
Much love,

Follow Jane on her trek from St. Jean, France into the Pyrenees (on foot), beginning on her 59th birthday.

Jane came to yoga at the ripe old age of 43. Though she had always been curious, it wasn’t until she organized a group led by a local teacher to come to her house that the journey began. What an amazing process it has been. She has been blessed to receive teachings from many beloved teachers here in Burlington. Much gratitude to Kathy McNames, Piper Petrie, Nell Ishee, Carolyn Connor, and Sofi Dillof for making the trek to Charlotte to guide her and her group on the path of yoga as they moved from house to house every Monday morning.

As her love for the practice grew, and inspired by Emily Garrett, Jane became a Kripalu certified yoga teacher completing her 200 hour teacher training in January of 2006. She began her teaching with inmates at the Dale Correctional Facility and the Converse Retirement Home. From there she was invited to teach at Yoga Vermont, Burlington Yoga, Copper Crane Yoga and the Shelburne Health and Fitness Club. In 2005 Jane met Gurmukh Kaur Kalsa on a lark by attending the Omega “Being Fearless” conference in NYC.

Drawn to the Kundalini practice, she traveled to India with Gurmukh in February 2007. Shortly afterwards she followed her heart and completed the 200 hour Kundalini teacher training, as taught by Yogi Bhajan, in May 2010. It is with great excitement that Jane has been invited to bring the Kundalini teachings to Laughing River Yoga. She looks forward to sharing this practice with you.
