Rime Shedrub Ling Northeast-Vermont Chapter Presents:
Weekly Open Meditation Classes
from the Tibetan Buddhist Tradition
Sundays 1-3 pm by Donation
Our fast paced lives can lead us on a path of wild emotions, confusion, and anxiety that disturbs the mind and makes us believe that this way of living is necessary. Mental conflict arises when the mind becomes agitated by thoughts of desire, anger, and exhaustion. Most of the time we are unable to recognize that we need a break from this cycle of thinking. Meditation is a way to learn to cultivate inner peace and settle the mind so it is pliable for loving kindness for the self and others to arise.
Each class will include meditation sessions, guided instruction and time for questions.
Classes taught by Sarah Snow under the guidance of Khachab Rinpoche.
Venerable Younge Khachab Rinpoche the 7th is a Tibetan Buddhist Meditation
Master and the spiritual director of Rime Shedrub Ling Buddhist Centers.
Rinpoche has spent his life studying and practicing Buddhist meditation. He is
known fondly by his students and contemporaries for his meditative realization,
vast knowledge of Buddhism, and great compassion. When not traveling around
the world, Rinpoche makes his home in Amherst, Massachusetts. He visits Vermont
often to teach.

Sarah Snow has been practicing and studying Buddhism since 1995 and has been a student of Khachab Rinpoche since 2003. Sarah has spent extensive time meditating and in retreat under Khachab Rinpoche’s guidance. Sarah has enjoyed leading group retreats, classes, and workshops for Rinpoche. At the request of Rinpoche, she has agreed to lead these weekly meditation sessions in Vermont. When not meditating she is a Children’s Librarian.
