What: A Seva Project/ selfless service for the Day Station at COTS
This week local studios are pairing up with the Day Station, run by COTS, to raise funds for Day Station supplies, such as laundry tokens, bus fare and Goodwill vouchers for homeless and displaced persons and families. Go to your favorite studio, take a class this week and know part of the cost of your class goes to a great and local cause. There are many studios to choose from! Call your favorite studio for more information or go to their website.

Where: At Laughing River Yoga, on Tuesday May 7th, 10% of proceeds from classes will benefit the Day Station. Check other particpating yoga studios near you too! Take advantage of yoga abundance! Choose from any of these participating studios.
Why: to benefit the Day Station: bus passes, laundry tokens, Goodwill vouchers.
What do I do? Take a class between May 6 -12, 2013. Studios donate a portion of proceeds to the Day Station. At Laughing River Yoga. we will be giving away 10% of proceeds from classes on Tuesday May 7th, to benefit the Day Station.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR:
I run the yoga program at Norwich University in Northfield, Vermont. I have been teaching yoga since 1997 and owned and ran my own studio in Montana before relocating to Vermont. I’ve developed Energy Medicine Yoga over several years with help from my teachers Donna Eden, founder of Energy Medicine, and Rod Stryker, founder of ParaYoga. My book Energy Medicine Yoga will be published in 2014, with a forward by Donna Eden.
I will be teacing EMYoga workshops and classes at Kripalu this spring and across the country this summer.
I am also a published writer with feature articles in The New York Times, The Jerusalem Post and Salon.com among others.
