Fall Equinox Yoga and Relaxation Retreat
September 20-22, 2013
Dreaming Moutain Retreat Center
During this year’s Fall Equinox, treat your mind, body, and soul to a weekend of yoga and relaxation. Soak up Vermont’s renowned foliage, clean fresh air, and quiet time to recharge.
This retreat is centered around yoga, massage, and nature. Each day offers a yoga class (Friday is Yoga Nidra, Saturday and Sunday are all-levels flow classes) along with delicious vegetarian meals prepared for you in beautiful retreat center setting.
In between meals and yoga, indulge in a massage session, a restorative foot soak, and ample time for rest and relaxation. Participate in a sacred fire ceremony under the shining VT stars, use the sauna, explore the walking trails, receive bodywork, and slow down in your free time.
The surroundings of Dreaming Mountain, our yoga sessions, the body-work you will receive, and the nourishing food will leave you with a deep sense of rejuvenation and connection.
Fall Equinox is balance point when day and night are the same length. This is a sacred time to gather for the purpose of turning energy inward and cultivating balance.
Before heading into the Yin stage of Winter where darkness prevails, the Earth is balanced between two extremes: the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, and the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year.
This is an auspicious time to stoke the fire within and identify ways our practice can help us shine brightly through the winter days and consciously blossom into spring.
