Beyond the postures the systems of yoga illuminate a subtle body. This lighter version of the physical body is built by prana. Prana itself contains the Sanskrit root prā “to fill.“ Often translated to “vital force” and comparable to the Chinese concept of Qi, prana flows through the body in particular patterns or via tubes of energy that can be manipulated. This intensive will cover application of vital energy by use of breathing techniques and adjustments with a deeper look at the subtle body (chakras, bandhas, nadis) and it’s relationship to the practitioner.
The emphasis of this practice is for the student to develop  a deeper awareness of their practice in relationship to the energy within – a perfect path of yoga.

Yoga is really trying to liberate us from … shame about our bodies. To love your body is a very important thing — I think the health of your mind depends on your being able to love your body.
